Antiparos Villas
Contemporary Cycladic Villa – Antiparos
Set within the coastal settlement of Agios Georgios in Antiparos, this private residence translates the island’s quiet landscape into a refined architectural composition of light, proportion, and material honesty. The project consists of a single villa with basement and swimming pool, conceived as part of a broader vision for contemporary Cycladic living.
Organized in simple intersecting volumes of stone and exposed concrete, the house opens toward the sea through large glazed surfaces that extend interior life to shaded verandas and terraces. Courtyards and semi-outdoor spaces articulate the boundary between built form and landscape, offering a continuous play of light, shadow, and sea breeze.
The material palette draws from the island’s geology—warm local stone, soft plaster tones, and concrete shades within the Pantone 424–428 spectrum—achieving harmony with the surrounding terrain while emphasizing tactile authenticity. Minimal detailing and measured geometry convey a timeless balance between restraint and comfort.
More than a holiday retreat, Antiparos Villas expresses a dialogue between architecture and nature—an inhabited horizon of calm, simplicity, and Mediterranean light.
